1. Who operates this tool
Cool Usernames is a free browser-based tool developed and maintained by Zaruni Ltd., a technology company based in Nairobi, Kenya. For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].
This policy applies specifically to Cool Usernames hosted at http://coolusernames.zaruni.co.ke/. The Zaruni platform privacy policy governs the main Zaruni marketplace separately.
2. What data this tool processes
Cool Usernames processes all data entirely within your browser. Any input you provide (code, text, keywords, password options) is used only to produce the tool's output and is never stored, logged, or transmitted to any server.
When you close the tab or navigate away, any input and output is gone. Nothing persists — not in a database, not in a cookie, not in local storage.
3. What this tool never does
- Does not collect your name, email address, or any personal information
- Does not require you to create an account
- Does not transmit your input to Zaruni's servers or any third-party server
- Does not use advertising or ad tracking SDKs
- Does not store analytics that identify you personally
- Does not use cookies to track you across sessions
- Does not share any information with third parties
4. Hosting infrastructure
Cool Usernames is served as a static web application. When you visit the tool, your browser downloads the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files from our hosting provider. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) may be retained by the hosting provider for infrastructure and security purposes. Zaruni Ltd. does not use these logs to identify individual users.
5. Third-party libraries
The tool is built with React and Vite. These are open-source libraries that run in your browser. They do not independently collect or transmit personal data.
6. Children's privacy
Cool Usernames does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 18. Because the tool stores and transmits nothing, it creates no special privacy risk for younger users.
7. Your rights under Kenya DPA 2019
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Because Cool Usernames stores no personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on our end. For any privacy-related concerns, contact us at [email protected].
8. Changes to this policy
