Why we built this

Local commerce in Kenya is built on trust — but that trust is hard to prove and easy to lose.

When something goes wrong with an order, a job, or a delivery, people have no record, no receipts, and no clear path to resolve it. Zaruni fixes that. Every transaction has a shared record — payment status, delivery proof, chat, receipts, and support — all in one place.

We started with Android because that's where most Kenyans are. M-PESA because that's how Kenya pays. And escrow because money should only move when the work is done.
