Kenya Docs Guide is a standalone utility app developed and maintained by Zaruni Ltd., a technology company based in Nairobi, Kenya. For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].
This policy applies specifically to the Kenya Docs Guide app (web and Android versions). The Zaruni platform privacy policy governs the main Zaruni marketplace app separately.
2. What this app stores
Kenya Docs Guide stores no data of any kind. All calculations and content are processed entirely in memory and are not saved anywhere — not on your device, not on any server. Closing the app clears everything.
3. What this app never does
- Does not require you to create an account or provide an email address
- Does not transmit any data to Zaruni's servers or any third-party server
- Does not include advertising or ad tracking SDKs
- Does not use analytics tools that collect personal data
- Does not share any information with third parties
- Does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or location
4. Third-party frameworks
The app is built with Expo and React Native. These frameworks may read standard device permissions (network status, locale) at runtime but do not transmit personal data.
Expo and React Native are open-source frameworks. On Android, the OS may provide the app with standard runtime information (device locale, screen size, network connectivity status) which the app uses solely for display and offline detection purposes. None of this is recorded or transmitted.
5. Children's privacy
Kenya Docs Guide does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Because this app stores no account data and transmits nothing, it does not create any special risk for younger users. Parents who have concerns may contact us at [email protected].
6. Your rights under Kenya DPA 2019
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and object to the processing of your personal data. Because Kenya Docs Guide stores no personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on our end.
